Ride Night to Dick & Cathie's BBQ
We left the VMA Lot Thursday at about 7:40 and headed south on
303. Not far south on 303 in Orangetown, Orangetown Police and Rockland County
Sheriffs had a Large DWI road block in full swing (a bit early in the evening?)
so it took a bit longer to get to Dick's than planned....and the six pack on ice
in my saddle bag for the BBQ went without detection or comment. Cathie wasn't
daunted by our delay and the Burgers and Dawgs were great, as was the salsa, and
macaroni salad etc. etc. Lo and behold Cathie's Daughter-in-Law had baked her
first cake for Bill Widmer's gazillionth Birthday. It was also excellent and
enjoyed by all. Very pleasant affair from which we all walked away with a
smile.
